Established : 1999

I&P's investment : % equity stake

Revenue in 2008 : 1,6 million €

CAT LOGISTICS is a freight broker. Its main activity consists in taking delivery at a harbor supplying Niger, dealing with all the customs' formalities and delivering the products to the clients. CAT LOGISTICS has three branches in the following harbors: Cotonou (Benin), Tema (Ghana) and Lomé (Togo).

CAT LOGISTICS's revenues have increased very quickly since 2008. A growth that has been supported by important contracts (in particular with AREVA and the World Food Program). The company benefits from a very positive context with massive investments in the oil and mining sectors which have developed the transit activities in Niger. CAT LOGISTICS is the only important firm of this sector which has been created and managed by local people and which is not a branch of an international group.

As an independent and credible actor and thanks to its commercial dynamism, CAT LOGISTICS has a strategic position in the national market which gives to the company the opportunity to establish parternships with predominant actors (GEODIS, MERCATOR).

I&P's investment (conjointly made with another investor) reinforced the capital stock and financed CAT LOGISTICS' growth. This financial reinforcement came with a consolidation of the organization's structure.
