Exotic fruit consumption in the European market is growing very rapidly. Biotropical is one of the first African producers to carry the “Ecocert” label.

The company markets and sells fresh and dried fruits and fruit pulp, particularly pineapple, in the European market.

I&P acquired its stake in Biotropical jointly with Font, a company that acts as the technical and commercial partner. The development plan calls for plantation expansion and the construction of a new factory to increase production capacity.
