Vue et Vision, Ivory Coast

Vue et Vision is a company created in mid-2009 which plans to develop a chain of optician’s shops in Ivory Coast, based on an innovative concept allowing broad access to quality eye-glasses.

·    The shops will be opened in low-income neighbourhoods.

·    Retail outlets will also carry out eye tests allowing them either to establish the necessary lens corrections or to direct the patient, if necessary to an ophthalmologist.

·    Products will mainly be sold as a  fixed-price package (lens and frame).

The first two shops opened at end-2009, with two more due to open in 2010, under the VISEO trade name.
